Karol Pokojowczyk - music producer

:: Born 23rd February 1977 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Since childhood he has three obsessions in his life: music, IT and learning languages. At age of 9 he was extremely interested in playing the drums and at this time heavily influenced by GENESIS and Phil Collins in particular.

When he turned 13 he fall in love with playing the guitar and at age of 17 he has become one of the most competent guitarists playing anything from Vai/Satriani/Bettencourt to jazz and even metal music. Love to music together with IT knowledge has helped him record his first LP in the computer based studio at age of 18. Moving forward he has learned to sing, playing keyboards and bass guitars.

Later on he has also experienced studio techniques including recording, mixing, editing and mastering in general. During 2003-2005 he lived in London, UK where he joined two bands: Cold Fury (winners of best performance in SONY’s Emergenza 2004 competition) and Zerostar – produced by Ian Grimble (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Manic Street Preachers, etc). Together with bandmates he gigged in one of the best London venues including London Astoria and Mean Fiddler.

He composed, arranged, played and produced two albums on his own distributed exclusively in the world’s biggest e-store iTunes. His works includes producing progrock album for ILUZJON and remixes for Nine Inch Nails.

Currently back in Warsaw working on his new project – MY 5INN. ::
